Thai Elephant Conservation Center  

          The name was changed from Elephant Training School when it first moved from Ban Pangla, Ngao to the Present location in Amphoe Hang Chat on Lampang-Chaing Mai Highway, between the 28th To 29th Kilometer.
          The centre is renowned for young elephant training shows and demonstrations of elephants’ forestry skills and endurance. There are two shows daily at 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. and an additional show on weekends and holidays at 13:30 p.m. Admission is 80 baht for each  individual visitor.
          Travelling: private car or public bus service. The bus service from Lampang or Chaing Mai is available at the bus terminal every 30 minuter.
