Wat Phra Thart Sadej

          Off to the left on the sixteenth kilometers on Lampang-Chaing Mai road, about 1 kilometre is a spacious Wat Phra Thart Sadej.  This wat, with exquisitely decorated doors, houses the principal Buddha image. The pose of the principle Buddha image in one of mediation among the quarrelling relatives which influenced Sukhothai architecture.  This temple has a Lanna style pagoda containing Buddha,s  relics.
