The Symbol of Lampang

        The picture of the white rooster standing on an arch of the Wat Phra Tat Lampang Luang is the official symbol of Lampang since the Kukutanakorn. This symbol is also used in the Lampang City Hall to represent Lampang province.

         The arch at Wat Phra Tat Lampang Luang is a beautiful piece of Lanna art. The pagoda of this temple contains a relic of the Lord Buddha. It is a holy center for Buddhists
